Does anyone know of anywhere in Flatbush or Boro Park which sells snoods in size Extra Large for women with extra large heads.
My head circumference is about 25". I always have trouble getting snoods and wigs which are not too tight.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

It's a major issue.
I have an extra large head and the current style of snoods looks like a bathing cap on me.
Even the ones that are officially "extra large".
They are making the snoods smaller and tighter than they used to.
I know some others also in this sitch and all having a hard time finding s/t that looks decent.

I also have a large head and used to only wear chenille snoods that always looked too tight on me; lately, I’ve switched over to wearing headscarves (they are also really trendy now!) and they are much more flattering.

I bought a lined snood in bingo which was huge on me. Eventhough I also find that the snoods sold in hosiery stores these days are way too small.

I also find all the snoods to be too small on me, but I bought one in bingo and it actually fit!

This is the first time that I'm hearing about Bingo.
Is Bingo the store at 1245 61st St ?
Is there a room where a woman may try on the snoods?
Also, for the ladies who bought snoods in Bingo:
did the snood in Bingo that fit your head say Extra Large or XL on the snood's tag?
Thank you.

That’s the store. it’s a supermarket that sells lots of non food items as well.
The snoods I’ve bought didn’t say xl. The company Elizi ran larger than the wallflower ones IME.
No you can’t try them on. They’re in a pkg...
Have you tried a store like double header?
The company named Lizi makes Xl snoods. The XL ones have a pink tag iirc. They are bigger than the bingo ones I think. I bought in lkwd and they aren’t much more expensive than bingo ($17 vs 20-24) and you can try them on in the hosiery stores so it’s not a risk that they won’t fit...

I also measure 25", and it's really hard to find something that looks nice. I have resorted to either getting the XL chenille snoods at Hosiery Plus, or buying online from the Millinery Shop...she advertises here on this website. She has the option when you are checking out, to add a larger size to most of her items for a small charge.

I live near Jerusalem and also have an extremely hard time finding large snoods. I thought it was just me but heard quite a few women in the shop discussing this also.

I have bought many head coverings,
for which a larger size can be had for a small charge or which come in size L/XL,
online from the Millinery Shop, over the past year.
B"H the items are not tight on my head.
Thank you, Crema, for suggesting it, last year.
I believe that the business is based in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn, NY;
if you check out the information on its "Contact Us" web page.
