I’m looking into this option with new technology to be anti-mold (I think a button you press every night to dry machine).
I’ve heard many reviews abou the LG front loaders that people like them but many also complain about the mold on rubber.

I’m thinking that this feature can be amazing but I still want a really strong machine.

Anyone here have the GE? What do you like about it?

I'm looking into the ge now.
Does the technology indeed keep it mold free?
And doors it wash well?

My daughter says it’s still smells of door kept closed.

I've had it for about 14 months & really like it. I rarely run the "venting" cycle, but do keep the door cracked open unless I'm running a load. I recently wiped out the rubber gasket for the first time and although there was gunk/hair (sorry if tmi!) caught in there, there was no mold. I also run the self clean cycle with affresh or oxiclean tablets every few months.

Do you do anything to keep it dry or from getting mold like doing the vent cycle?

I bought it this past summer and like it so far.

The best feature for me is the auto fill detergent. You fill it up once and it adds detergent automatically to every load, lasts a whole bunch of loads. It is such an amazing feature not to put detergent every load!

I press the anti mold cycle every so often, but my cleaning lady does most my laundry and she never presses it when she’s done. So far it doesn’t smell bh, but it’s only been about 7 months.
