If I’m driving from Lakewood to woodbourne area what time on erev Shabbos do I need to leave?

Traffic starts building up between 12-1. I'd leave at 12 latest.

I think noon is when you want to leave. There's a good chance you will arrive with plenty of time, but if you leave later than noon, all bets are off....and drive time can double or more which would be a mess erev shabbos.

I left at 2 PM to get to Monticello. There was traffic but it didn't take more than 3.5 hours. It didn't feel stressful to me at all. I think I got there at around 5.30 and shabbos was at 8ish.

It's a real gamble. The way can also take 5-6 hours.
