I freeze them in a muffin pan, shaped into ready balls.
I drop them straight into the tomato juice mix when cooking.

If they are already frozen place in a plastic bag in a bowl of lukewarm water for an hour. Running water will expedite the process.

Put them in your fridge overnight and they’ll defrost. Don’t do it on the counter.

I find they taste best when stuck in the oven on 350 frozen solid for about an hour and a half.

I’ve defrosted in the oven at 300 for around an hour
Yesterday I defrosted in the microwave since the meatballs and sauce were in a plastic container. It was fine.

I don't defrost - I put them in crockpot with the sauce and crockpot until time to serve

I put it in the microwave as mine was also in a container and they didn’t taste too good.. how long did you put yours in for?

I started with 2 minutes then checked them.. kept adding another minute and checking. I don’t remember what the total was but it was probably around 8 minutes or something similar. Since it was the first time I heated up frozen meatballs in sauce in the microwave I wasn’t sure and did it slowly.
