My toddlers blood work came back with a low wbc of 4.8. Is that a reason for concern?

What does your Dr say? Is the child not feeling well? A low or high blood count is indicative of something not right. If you know what's wrong e the child, it's ok. But for a healthy child, it shouldn't be so low.

Depending what else is going on. If he's not feeling well it's not a reason for concern. Also if he's not feeling well, how long he's he not feeling well for? 3 days or 2 weeks? 3 days it's totally normal. 4.8 is usually a sign that the kid is fighting a virus especially if the other numbers are within range.

Toddler got routine bloodwork. Toddler is acting normal. I will speak to the dr tomorrow but am worried seeing the results.

Did you doctor tell you it’s low or you just saw that on the portal? What range are they using? 4.8 is at the lower end of normal.
ETA lower end of normal for a child above age two, Google now tells me. How old is your child?

I just saw on the lab results that it was Low
