How do you handle sending little ones to babysitters/playgroup when asked are they “up to date” with Vs? Will not tell an untruth. So how do you all answer this? Are there morahs that are known to be ok with it, and I’m just not in the loop?
Lakewood area.
(Please don’t answer with hate. I am simply asking other honest parents what they do, not looking for lectures, even well-meaning ones Smile )

My baby’s is slightly behind not on purpose. No one asked when I signed her up in Lakewood.

You have the doctor write up a delayed schedule of when the vaccines will be administered and have him/sign it.

I answer a vague "They have what they need" but most places don't ask.

Thank you. Even for the toddler groups they don’t usually ask?

I was in this position very recently. I registered dc for pre-nursery. I told them I might have an issue because I'm quite behind. I told them I give vaccines but it just so happened that I'm very behind. She said as long as I give and as long as I give one more round before September its ok. Legal place.

Sorry but this is being purposely misleading. If they ask if the kid is up to date then they want it up to date. If you say "what they need" you are skirting around the issue that they are not up to date and dont have what they "need" for school, playgroup, daycare (either by state rule or rules of that particular program.
Be honest.
