We are sefardi but dont hold by rav ovadia for hair covering so I (proudly) cover with a sheital.
My bucharian friend invited my family to go for shabbos. They only wear mitpachot.
Should I be respectful and wear a mitpachat/tichel by them for shabbos?
I know the husband is very against sheitals. Ive heard a few of his comments.
Weve never been for shabbos before; but ive been to my friends house and worn a sheital...

It's nice you want to be respectful, but I wouldn't think they expect you to adopt their preferred style of hair covering at their house any more than you'd expect them to adopt yours if they came to your house.

As someone who only wears tickels, I 100% would not care if you come in a sheital... to each their own.

You shouldn't need to change what you wear, but if you know he is extremely against it, why not wear a Mitpachat/or nice hat? Enjoy the time with them instead of having a twisted conversation about haircoverings.

You do you!
(If I thought that the entire shabbos conversation would center around what I was wearing, I might consider not going jus to avoid the conversation. Do you really expect him to voice a strong opinion about how you cover your hair?)

They invited you for shabbos. They know you wear a wig. I wouldn't expect my guests to adhere to my standards.

I am a bukharian who only wears tichels and neither my husband nor I would bat an eye at a guest wearing a wig
