What is the going rate per hour for babysitters now?

Depends what type of babysitting. Do you mean group babysitters during the day while you work, or night babysitters (teens) so you can get out?
My teen DD (going into 9th grade) usually gets $10-12 an hour for babysitting (depends sometimes on how many kids, if they are up or sleeping, etc...)

Sorry, I meant a day group. By my last baby I paid $5/hour. I get that prices went up... trying to figure out what the new price range would be

My babysitter just went up from $6 to $7
A lot of people are charging $8
It's insane with 2 kids, I'm contemplating quitting my job.

Still a huge range. I have a 6mo in an old fashion basement baby factory for $5/hr while my 2 year old is in a regular but newer group and it’s closer to $7.
