If you like it, can you say why?
How does it compare to gas?

I like that it brings food to a boil quicker, it's easier to clean and that you get more counterspace when you're not using it to cook on but I still prefer cooking on gas. Trying to think why but can't think of a single reason now lol

From what I understand not every pot and pan is compatible with induction. That could mean buying new pans.
Second and very important I think it's impossible to use on yom tov. With gas you don't have that problem.

Good luck making a pancake on it! It either burns or is too runny!
It works with number and it goes from boiling burning to barely cooking…. I much rather prefer gas!
It definitely looks cool and is easy to clean and it boils water fast but it’s not worth it…and u have to buy new pots

Induction's longer name is magnetic induction, and a magnet has to be able to stick to the pan. I don't see much call for induction among frum clients because you cannot use it on YomTov.

Thank you! Not usable for yt is definitely something to take into consideration which I didn't think of.

I did it for my dairy cooktop as it’s flat and can be used as counter space. I got new pots, $100 for the set on Amazon. It can’t be used on yom tov.

I was told to go with the wolf induction too instead of cheaper models for this reason. There is much more control on it.
I’m very happy with mine. We use it for dairy and I have a gas stove top for meat.

I have an electric glass hob. Not induction.
I just turn it off at the wall before shabbos & yom tov and I can use it for an extra surface. Otherwise it bleeps..
I love it, so ready to clean and don't need special pots for it. I use 'the pink stuff' in the tub to clean spillages, it works amazing!
