Our master bathroom needs some help but unfortunately not in the budget.
Everything is in good condition, no mold etc but very old and ugly.
Is there anything we can do on our own that relatively simple? My husband is pretty handy but couldn't gut an entire bathroom.
The shower, vanity cabinet, and floor come in first place for the ugliest. (No bathtub.)
The tile walls and toilet are second place lol.
The sink part of the vanity is actually decent and so is the painted higher part of the wall.
Open for a ideas TIA

Post pics so we can better direct you!

Without seeing anything, I'd say the best thing to do is buy a really pretty shower curtain that goes from top to floor, and remove the whole vanity and replace it with something that gives the room a full face lift. Add a nice mirror above it to complete the look.

Thanks. I don't know how to post pictures

I was thinking along the lines of painting the tile floor or putting down stick on tiles....has anyone done that?
Also has anyone reglazed the shower themselves?

Adina Miller on Instagram has painted her tiles floor backsplash and vanity.

You can change the sink hardware for a more updated look.

When we moved in we didnt have money to redo the whole bathroom so this is what we did by ourselves:
changed the vanity. Dh took out the old one and me and him shlepped in a new one we bought in home depot for under 200. 6 years later and still looking good.
dh changed the light fixture to a more modern streamlined one, which also added more light
I painted the walls and moldings myself with leftover paint from the painters
but first I removed an ugly wall hung cabinet, filled in the holes in the wall
after painting the walls, I hung nice picture frames since the wall looked empty and not so straight (im no professional lol)
changed out the towel rod for two hooks
dh recaulked around the toilet and tub

in a different bathroom we had a painter paint the vanity (he was anyway painting elsewhere) maybe you can do that yourself
