Would you send your toddler out just for social stimulation

There are plenty of opportunities for your child to socialize without sending them to a babysitter.

This. I probably wouldn’t send my child out, but I would do play dates or round robin or mommy and me stuff.
Edit: some kids I sent out when they were 2 turning 3, others I sent out when they were 3 turning 4.

I did. He was 18 mos and my oldest and bored. I saw the way his eyes lit up every time we had someone over so I sent him to playgroup- even though it was easier to take care of him at home than to take him there and back every day. b"h he enjoyed it.

Depends on the kid. My first was totally fine chilling at home. My second was desperate for action and I couldn't provide enough. It's possible that's because she was used to having a sister at home and hated when she was at school, but also by nature she's still more of a social being.
