This post is so validating. I was so excited to make zucchini soup all week. I finally made it today. I just tried it... And it's bitter. I'm so sad. I specifically made extras for after the fast.
At least I know it's not my fault.

That’s so frustrating!
Tip I learnt recently: cut off a piece of the zucchini and lick it. If it has a taste it usually means it’s no good!

I just had this with curbies. Bought a bagful at Bingo last week. They looked great, like they would be fresh and crispy but they tasted like poison
