Hi 👋
I’m moving to Israel in a week should I buy a Braun food processor here or in Israel??
Is it worth the shlep? Do they even sell it in Israel??
Thanks!

I'm not sure specific stores where to buy online, we bought in a store in geula.

But, you can check zap for prices and stores online, it's a very good resource for comparing prices of electricals in Israel: https://www.zap.co.il/models.a.....36393

Yes sure you get that here too.

I don't remember the name of the store (not sure if in actual Geula, think closer to Mir) though I'll let you know. It was a number of years ago. It could be that it's cheaper online...

It's worth joining Jerusaguide, people post a lot of moving sales there.

If you post in with your username, I can send you email addresses for people who posted brauns & boschs for sale recently.

Welcome!!
There's also a store by the Mir.
I think it's called cheap cheap or something like that and they have small appliances for great prices

I find that large items are better to buy here in case there is a need to repair/exchange, the company will take care of it. (or the handymen that fix these items).

As someone who has moved overseas, I don't recommend bringing appliances that would require a converter. Better to buy in the destination country. It's a bit of a potential for fire hazard to convert electrical charges and it can also sometimes break the appliance. Not worth it.

It's free, but it can take time until they actually add you. Also, could be you need an Israeli number to join, they call to verify. Email this address and they will send you a form: jerusaguidesubscribe@gmail.com
