I used to buy all my pajamas for my boy from gap.
But they are too tight fitting.
Pls share your experience from other companies/stores.
Thanks

Check out shirtsstop.com. I've bought there a few pairs. Very comfortable and loose fitting. Not wide just not tight. I too hate the tight fitting.

In the US there is a law that kids’ pajamas need to be treated with flame retardant or be “snug fitting” which in practice means very very tight. Supposedly this will keep kids safer in a fire, but if my kids can’t sleep because of their constrictive clothes, who cares? I would NEVER sleep in something so tight.

My solution is that they sleep in pajama bottoms about 2 sizes “too big” (they fit perfectly! try it!) or daytime sweatpants, and a daytime T-shirt. Problem solved.

PS some people import PJs from Europe for this reason but for me this feels like overkill. With that said I only have boys and they do not care what they wear so long as it’s comfortable, so if I were looking for a loose girls’ nightgown in a natural material (not polyester) with no flame retardants in the USA that would probably be my only option.
