Obviously I’m trying not to yell but I’m so triggered by the whining and the fighting from my kids right now.

Go in your room and if possible shut the door and take a nap.
You can tell them you are giving yourself a timeout

Take a nap and have your husband step up and deal with them for a while

My husband has an awful headache and cannot help me right now.
I had time to nap earlier, now it’s dinner and hang out until bedtime. The kids follow me if I leave the room.

I can so relate. Except I am crankier than the kids. I am coming down with a bug, pregnant and need bathroom every second. I feel awful.
