I checked and Im "following" certain threads I post on, and Im not getting emails when there are new posts. I think this happened before.

Why?

Whether I post as Imamother or with my username I usually get email notifications.

Maybe you accidentally clicked the unfollow button on the email notification you got. I’ve done it before accidentally.

Is it possible you clicked on an email and read the new responses without logging in? It will only send an email if a new post happens after you’ve ‘read’ previous responses (logged-in)

This. When I was new here, it took me some time to figure out that you need to be logged in before you open new responses, or else it won't register that you've read the responses, and therefore won't send you new emails.
