I'm wondering how much I can charge a school for a curated list of short stories and poems for middle school literature. Anyone with experience on this? It's basically a matter of the time I spent searching for these and the school is having a hard time finding appropriate pieces on their own.

I didn't count the hours. I taught for a few years in the school, developed my own curriculum and found my own stories for it all throughout the years I was there. It definitely was a lot of hours of research. (I gave a price for my whole curriculum, to which they said was too much. They just want the list of stories and poems for a lower price...)

If you don't mind sharing, what was the price for the full curriculum? I imagine that somewhere about 1/4 to 1/3 of the cost might be appropriate.

I asked for 2k for the whole curriculum.
As for mosdos press (I never heard of the other one), those text books are super expensive, so I assume that's why not.
