Have you seen any cheaper than the costco kirkland elegant plates?
50 plates for $14 is 0.28/plate (25 of rav of large plates and salad plates)

I'm wondering if there are any other nice plastic plates in that price range.

Not clear plates.

I was just coming to suggest Kirkland when I saw your title. They are the cheapest I’ve found…

When is your Simcha? Were do you live?

I have found that before Sukkus and Peash Gourmy Glatt in Lakewood has their pretty plastic on sale.

If I know I will be making a Simcha, like a Bar Mitzvah or Sheva Brochous I would buy then.

If you can wait until then and live near by, wait

I'm pretty sure I saw the Kirkland plates at my local Costco yesterday for 11.99. Are you buying it in Costco or another store that marks it up?

I follow a bargains website that often posts deals on plates from Amazon; they are almost always more expensive than the Kirkland at Costco. Occasionally there is a deal on a set that includes flatware as well as plates; that might come out equivalent or a drop cheaper than Costco if you need the exact flatware configuration they have (it might be hard to match up if you need additional pieces).

Kollel budget often posts links to sales on Amazon. I’ve found dinner and appetizer plates for about 20 cents, white with silver edges.

I have some saved in my Amazon cart, let me see

I have a paper goods store, and the absolute cheapest I've paid (wholesale) for a 10" plate hard white plastic plate (plain white, no gold or silver rim) is 0.22. That was pre-inflation, pre supply and demand issues, pre fuel shortages, etc.... so yeah, the price has gone up a lot.

If you are interested in buying by the case, then I do know a distributor that will sell wholesale to the public without a minimum order. They are kind of a pain to deal with, but if you can work with them, it might work out well for you.

I obviously don't want to out myself to this whole forum, but if you PM the user Hashem Yazor, she can give you my user name. You can contact me, and I will give you details.

Thanks everyone! I love OOT and won't be in tristate area YT season.
So I guess kirkland it is so far
The price in store at costco is probably cheaper than what they are showing online.

that's perfect!
I'm sure it will look m'kebubad enough for a simcha.
If you want it to look fancier, then you can look for an inexpensive table runner or small centerpieces on the table.
But from what you are describing, I wouldn't worry.
