Idiot me! Before Pesach, I thought I was buying a brand name toaster oven in Duddy's, because it looks identical to big brand name toaster ovens, I stupidly assumed.. .
I just turned it upside down and all around and I see it says "Intertek".
It goes on when it wants, takes a lot of effort and guessing and knob-turning to get it to do anything.
Now I understand why.
Duddy is closed today.
What can I expect them to do?

I don't think they should do anything. Youve had this toaster for four months. It's not the brand name you wanted, but that's not their fault. Why don't you contact the company itself? See if they have a warranty and might replace it for you. Even Amazon wouldn't take it back at this point.

Just because it *looks* like a brand name toaster oven doesn't mean it is.

I agree Duddys isnt responsible.
The company doesnt even have a website. Theres no mention of this toaster on the internet.
I only buy brand names, but it was pre Pesach madness.

UPDATE! Intertek Toaster from Duddys is working fine. Issue was this outlet.
