I think about 40 min, ad a bit of water later on to avoid burning. I use a meat thermometer

Yes. Slice the potatoes thinly and put them under the chicken. Cook twenty minutes with the lid down, twenty minutes open, and again twenty minutes closed.

I did this last week. Was soooo good. I used drumsticks.
