I will be in Pittsburgh area briefly on business later this week.

Some work colleagues want to go out for dinner.

Most importantly, after kosher, is finding some place that the non jewish diner will feel comfortable in.

It doesn't need to be fancy, but someplace the velt would enjoy being at--even if casual. Good food, normal service--even if counter service, etc.

It will be a small group of us (3-5 people).

Other desires--vegetarian options (for one of the coworkers) and low salt options (not all pizza/fries/falafel type stuff full of salt).

Any suggestions that you've had good experiences with personally?

TIA

There isn't much. Milky Way is the main pizza store/ restaurant and good food. They have vegetarian options too outside of pizza.

There's a newer place called Eighteen inside the sefarim store. I haven't been there so don't know if it's good but it would be fancier. Not sure about vegetarian option there though.

Doesn't need to be upscale. In fact, I'd rather a place that is casual but does it well (food and service) vs. trying to be fine dining and it being heimish/awkward.

I think I'll show my coworkers the website/menu and see if they want to try milky way.

Milky Way is delicious! I love their Roma pizza (no sauce - it has fresh tomato slices and ricotta/mozzarella cheese. SO GOOD.).

Milky Way was great!

I stopped and picked up take out (ordered online) on my way in.

Didn't go out to dinner with coworkers the next night, too tired. But...I did order delivery (via door dash) and it was worth it (especially because I had per diem $ anyways) to actually get delivery! (I also live OOT, so getting kosher take out DELIVERED is for me the biggest treat!)

Food was great.

Will be in Cleveland later this month and also looking forward to trying their location there as well.
