Never heard of any virtual reality place.
There is lazer tag.
Coal Mine tour.
DEFY-a trampoline park-fun for all ages
24 hour bowling places with arcades.
Claws and paws wild animal park (not in Scranton, but drivable)
Houdini museum and magic show
Steamtown national historic site
Trolley museum
Aquarium

No restaurants in scranton at all.
Kosher places include: Krispy kreme donuts, Ritas ices (3 locations with hechsher), national bakery for bread and baked goods.
Yeshiva co-op is the kosher grocery. A few big supermarkets have kosher sections, but most aren't very impressive.

We ended up doing skyzone trampoline, Chuck e cheese, and claws n paws. All within half hr drive.
