My dc is in camp for first time this year. Camp has an option that we can email the camper. I feel a pressure to write everyday. Getting a bit much….

When I was in camp (in the fax days) my mom would try to send every day. It made me feel loved and remembered.

Most times it was just a few lines.

Hi, just thinking of you. Hope you’re having a great day!
It’s so hot outside today, hope to go swimming later. Dov went on a trip today with his day camp, he’ll be home late.
Gotta run. Miss you!
Xoxo

I try daily, just a few lines, recap of our day, before I go to bed and send the email out. Some of my kids appreciate it others couldn't care less Can't Believe It there was a time this summer I couldn't write every day, and one of my kids asked me to please send more emails. When it is difficult for you to send or gets too overwhelming can you ask a family member or friend who didn't go to camp to email? I know my camp has such an option.
