I’m trying to lose weight. However I always need a chocolate at night. Which ones are the best? Low in calories? Parve.

We ( even our not low carb daughter) like very dark (75%+) chocolate on Shabbat.
I don’t usually eat more than a square because the intensity of the chocolate is so much greater when not diffused by sugar.
I’m not a chocoholic but the others in my house are and they Love dark , dark chocolate.

The problem with sugar free chocolate other than the fact it's more expensive, is that there is as much fat if not more than regular chocolate.
Also the carbohydrate content still tends to be high, so still not great; so whilst being sugar free or no added sugar might help a little, it isn't what I would call a 'diet product.'
I would say go for 70% cocoa or higher if you don't mind it slightly or even very bitter.
My personal favourites are 85% Lindt or Schmerling, in fact I haven't had an 85% one that I haven't liked!
