Cimexa for bedbug treatment leaves white stains all over!

Whats the easiest and most effective way to apply Cimexa?

I tried mixing some with water as per the instructions, and I see it leaves white stains all over carpet, even mixed as per instructions (4 ounces of Cimexa to 1 quart of water).

What do others do? I dont mind white stains that you can barely see, close to walls, behind furniture, but I do mind white stains near legs of beds in center of bedroom.

Any advice concerning bedbug treatment with Cimexa, related to stains, or any general advice, will be very much appreciated.
