If you could please tell me exactly what it is called please and need exact instructions on how to make it.
What do people eat it with? Salad? Or plain, alongside grilled chicken?

I regularly serve grilled london broil for Shabbat lunch. I slice it thin after cooking and serve plain. It's delicious.

I hope by "room temp" you really mean "cold." It is not safe to keep perishable food like meat at room temp unless you enjoy risking food poisoning. Keep hot foods hot, cold foods cold.
