Yes, and mushrooms are a fungus, right? So "pitriya" is a catch-all term for fungus.

I remember the first time I heard about someone growing mushrooms on their feet.
It took me a while to look at mushrooms the same way.

You may want to get a prescription from your doctor. (you can probably do it over the phone or online). Many things that are over the counter in the US are not in Israel. I think athlete foot cream is one of them (though I may be wrong, so find out).
