I need serious help trying to figure out what to do with my post HS DS who just graduated. He recently graduated HS and started college, 3 weeks in , it is not working out. He needs another option, he cannot stay home day after day on his computer , it will kill him. Is there any professionals , I can reach out to in the NY area who can give me advice???

I would see a career counselor to find out what other career paths would be a better fit.

He can get a job. College isn't for everyone.

Thank you for your replies.. I tried the job route in the summer but he had anxiety when I was supposed to drop him off. He is not 18 yet and a bit socially behind. He does not want to go to Israel, even to chill out, the offer has been made.I offered to send him to a short day BM program, not interested, this is why I am seeking professional advice.

What does he enjoy? Have him learn a vocational skill instead of college.

Where are you located? What does he want to do? Would he be open to a half-half program, either beis medrash + college (e.g. Landers), or job + college (IDT)? Since you mentioned he likes computers, would he be open to a coding boot camp that usually runs 6-9 months and then leads to job offers?

Professional advice on Imamother?
Definitely take him to a career coach or vocational advisor but only someone who has experience with his issues.
Is he motivated at all? Does he want to learn and work?

In my original post, I said I was seeking a professional in NY..not professional advice on imamother. I know what I need to take him to, I am asking for names in the NY area.

He is a very kind person who treats people of all backgrounds with mental health, anxiety, or social issues. He has experience guiding young men in career choices when making transitions in life. He has worked well with young people and couples.
