Ds was Bar Mitzvah recently. He's having a hard adjustment with the new schedule of catching minyanim. He also says he falls asleep in yeshiva but refuses to go to sleep early because still wants to be out playing ball with his friends, and has hard time waking in the morning.
Don't know how to deal with this. I try to validate him that it is hard because it's new and it will become easier. But he's all moody about it, and tells me who am I to talk when don't need to catch early minyan.
I'm really nervous he shouldn't drop whole thing. How do I make it better for him?

I'm no expert. But will there ball playing end I once the weather gets colder? If yes I'd wait to see if that changes things and keep things low pressure in the meantime

The day is just too long for some kids.
