Whats the youngest you've traveled with a newborn by plane for a domestic flight? Is it safe to fly with a baby a few days old?

I wouldn't take baby on plane before 2 months old.
Definitely not afew days old, they're still way too delicate, you can't know how they'll handle the altitude & pressure.

I think they recommend waiting at least two weeks.
After some thought, I think for me the youngest has been six weeks.

I deff know ppl who flew with a week old and some younger. The mom is pushed in a wheel chair through the airport. Just don’t let ppl hold ur baby, the airplane air is cleaned often and doesn’t get germy unless someone is sneezing over ur baby, you are fine

I flew with my 10 day old baby. My mother came to help me for a few days but she couldn't stay, so I flew home with her.
He was my only one at the time. He was swaddled and one of us was holding him the entire flight.

Airlines have rules as to how old baby needs to be, usually around 2 weeks. Make sure to check with the airline.

Never heard of this. It was 15 years ago, so maybe things were different...
