What do people do about stockings that always get a pull, run, etc and never seem to last. Seems like such a waste how often one needs to buy them

Are u sure she’s wearing the right size. The sales lady in the stocking store was trying to convince my girls to buy small women’s stockings as opposed to large teen sizes.
Also how do you wash them? They need special care
