I have a lot of frozen cauliflower and would like to serve it as a side at my daytime yom Tov meal(s). I usually do roasted cauliflower (and I’ll do that if I don’t find an alternative) but it’s never as good reheated.
Any ideas?
I am not looking for kugel.
Nothing too saucy, serving it with a saucy roast.
I prefer not to cook on yom Tov, but I will have a burner on, so I guess I could if necessary (but it has to be pretty quick as I would like to go to Shul).

Do you have a recipe that reheats well?

I would steam it straight from the freezer on the hot plate (no reheating).

Not a bad idea at all! I could just dump it in a pan with some olive oil and spices & leave it to cook while everything heats up. Why didn’t I think of that?

Thank you, ra mom! You always have the best solutions!

If anyone else has some ideas, I’m always open to options!

Place frozen cauliflower florets in a disposable pan and seal with foil. Place the covered pan over another disposable pan that has water in it (double boiler). Allow to steam completely.
You can mix lemon, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper and drizzle over the veggies before serving.

Popcorn cauliflower with olive oil, turmeric, spices, roasted.
Not many choices if not kugel, but I do find kugel stays especially good even reheated. Mix with mayo, eggs, sautéed onions, everything spice, garlic, etc. it’s delish,
