We are considering moving to Lakewood in June. We would only do it of we could find a warm, open minded school for our daughter who will be going into 9th grade.
She is bright, I wouldn't want her to be bored in school.
We are simple out of town types. Not into externals/fancy clothes etc.
We are JPF. Not yeshivish.
I realize I'm asking for a lot in a school Smile
Here's what we would like in order of most important to least:

1. Warm girls from diverse backgrounds
(Not snobby girls who are all the same "type")

2. Hanalah who is satisfied with their parent/student body.
(Not constantly trying to get a "better name" in the eyes of the general Lakewood crowd)
Meaning they are real. They WANT to cater to the communities they do.

3. High level of learning

I don't know so much about TCS but I put it in the description so on first glance it would be obvious that we are looking for an open minded place.
Btw they don't have a high school, so which high schools do parents send from TCS?

Chedvas sounds like it might work for you. Or Bais Kaila. Hatzlacha!

By high level do you mean English?
Because no lkwd high school is giving a high level English education. It’s adequate for life. But not high level.
(No offense to lkwd I have many kids in the system and even schools with ‘top’ English are basic)

Most girls from TCS go to Bnos Bais Yaakov, and the good news is that their level of education is on the higher end in Lakewood.

Like someone else posted, Chedvas and Bais Kaila are also great choices.
Oros is also very academic and has some diversity.

I taught in bby amongst many other schools. by far the best education in english. mrs feldberger works really hard to make an excellent curriculum and really trains and is on top of her teachers.
also- in general, the school is not yeshivish, but VERY SOLID. Extremely warm, and Winklers are very satisfied with their parent body. They love every person who is there. there is no such thing as we should have not taken her cuz she isnt good enough or is causing us trouble. the school is warm, good out of town feel, extremely calm and happy, and high education (with the struggling girls being catered to by a high quality school education counselor)

from my experience in many places, this school is way underrated, and is by far at the top of the totem pole internally

Chedvas has everything you are looking for. My DD is there. If you have any questions, I’ll do my best to answer.

I have had 2 daughters in BBY. One graduated already and one is midway through. I’m thrilled with the education and the girls and the hanhala. I have a 7th grader this year and I’m totally expecting to send her as well. BBY essentially has 2 feeder schools (at least according to my girls)- TCS and Bnos Penina. My girls are from Bnos Penina, so I’m not totally familiar with TCS.

If you are first planning on moving, please be aware that there is a Lakewood wide placement test in the winter (January, I think). It is there that all the high school applications are given out. If your daughter has no siblings in a school, you are required to apply to 4 schools for the vaad to help you (if it turns out that you need help). You might need help given that your daughter is new to town and is not coming from a Lakewood elementary.

Op, BBY is exactly what you are looking for. I taught there as well. Principals are fantastic, materialistic pressures are quite low, there's a cozy atmosphere between the grade - both amongst the girls themselves, and girls and staff. The academic level is high. Your daughter will easily be able to move on to college from there. Most of all, they know their crowd and embrace it! As an aside, Bnos Basya is also shaping up to fit your description. And probably easier to get into, because it's newer.
