Does carp fish have bug infestation?

I got a whatsapp about this, but can anyone confirm, also, is it all carp or which types?

The kosher shops add chemical to the water by live carp which kill off the bugs then they get washed very well. Non kosher shops don't do this. The bugs like to hang out by the gills and head. Also certain kosher fish have this problem. For example certain types of cod. Live Herring is also known. Sont ask me how I know this. I don't. My dh job is in fish

I asked a Rabbi who asked someone else who said they're not aware of anything more than usual so ok to use it.
