How are you? Is the news scarier than it really is? You should all be safe.

I'm in Miami. It just started pouring and winds are at 35 mph. The worst part of the hurricane is supposed to hit the Gulf Coast, not us. We'll see what the rest of the night and tomorrow brings.

My brother in Tampa was ordered to evacuate this morning (he isn't frum and spent all morning trying to get out of town).

My mom lives in NMB but is here now. Do you know if anyone lost power?

No - the hurricane is expected to make landfall tomorrow. Currently the Keys are getting battered with high wind and storm surges, and a couple of tornadoes touched down nearby in Cooper City.

Right now the streets are flooded in NMB and it's raining on and off.

We are in NMB. Been super rainy all yt but otherwise we are good. I think those of us who have been through this before aren’t so concerned, especially since we are expecting a tropical storm here. The west coast and central Florida are definitely on higher alert.

Yea, that’s what my moms said. She was just more concerned about loss of power, and her fridge and feeezer….since she’s not home.

The main part of the storm didn't hit Miami. Just the outerbands. I think most people have power. Regular day today.
