Hi I’m new to renting cars and looking for any tips to get a good deal, websites to try, other hacks, etc.
I’m picking up and returning to the same airport and need something that fits 7. I checked Priceline and Expedia and prices are pretty high.

Prices are really high right now, much higher than they used to be... I used to be able to get a minivan for $85 a day, now it's closer to $150 per day.
If you have any affiliations (BMG, AAA, etc.) you can use a corporate code but it's not likely to save you much. If you have a Costco membership apparently there are some savings through that.

I find hotwire to be cheapest usually. Prices are expensive now though. I just rented a 7 seater for about 70 a day.
