Looking for a reasonably priced doula at Columbia-Presbyterian for a first-time mom (me!) with no known complications, around Dec/Jan time, mainly for advocacy and emotional support. Preferably someone who doesn't have strong feelings about epidurals and the like. I would not be comfortable with a very yeshivish person, but can be non-Jewish as long as they're familiar with the relevant halachic & cultural quirks. Open to using a beginner, if they're professional and know what they're doing. Anyone had a great experience or know someone who might fit the bill?
EDIT: Also prefer someone on the younger side, more of a friend than a mom/bubby type.

Any doula from tri-state area will go to any local hospital, it's not specifically per hospital.
As far as recommendations, Yehudis Steuer is fabulous, and I know Leah Ringel is too though I haven't used her personally.
