I don’t usually read Jewish books, but I’d like to during this time of the year over Shabbos/YT. Can anyone recommend a well written page turner that will keep me reading?

What do you like reading? A whole lot of new books come out this time of the year
I liked The Captives by Rochel Istrin. Its HF and a good read
Shattered Worlds By Yair Weinstokck is a thriller definitely a page turner
Deep in the Forest by Ruth Arieli Rappaport is another favorite

Thanks for all the suggestions. I need something that will keep me reading, but also a little light. Not Holocaust related … or maybe something even a bit shallow can work. Too much going on for me emotionally right now.

Is that an old book? Is it easy to find now? I want to run to a bookstore soon to get something before YK.

If you're looking for something light and fun, can I suggest my novel "Rule of Three" (Esther Kurtz)

I usually read books and say ok I read it, done. This one I finished and said that was a good book. It's hard to impress me but you accomplished that!

Rule of 3 sounds like exactly what you’re looking for OP. I also really like pride and preference if you want more than one option. Both are recent enough that the store should still have it. The really new books out now, at least the ones I’m seeing, aren’t so light and are harder to follow.
