We hired a skilled handyman to make our sukkah, and he did a great job, but he is not understanding what a shlock is, which materials to use, and how to do it!
DH and I aren’t handy, so I’m wondering:
Anyone have photos (detailed photos would be fabulous) of their schlock? A list of materials you used, and the basics of how you raise and lower it?
Thanks so much!

Tell him it's like an awning. I used to help father build it. Don't have any pictures handy though. It nds to have a frame built w 2x4s and the shlock then gets attached to it. It can be pulled up n down w a pulley system. I'll try to Google for detailed instructions for you.
