I'm curious. I do an average of 13-14 loads a week.
We are 7 people, including 2 young elementary school boys who play with mud and sand and can't wear anything again.
Our machines aren't that big.
I also separate a lot. Dark pants and skirts, uniform blouses, white shirts, delicates. And I do multiple of each load a week because my daughter doesn't have enough uniform skirts. So I wash on Sunday and Wednesday.

What is your laundry situation?

Towels, kitchen towels are part
Linen not. Depending what else is going on in my life, I do linen every 2-4 weeks and that adds an additional 3-4 loads.

I do linen weekly. So altogether, for my family of 5, usually 14-15 a week, more when we have guests (frequently).

My mother says that my machines only stop for shabbos. Family of 10 kh. I do work..so it's not on the whole day. But I put in a load before I go to work on delay start . And a load before I go to bed on delay start. And in addition at least 2-3 loads a day without the linen.

We are 6 people, but I wash for 5. My teenaged son somehow never has any laundry in his hamper, and I told him he’s on his own. That being said….my loads are towels, bed linen, whites, colors, delicates.
I try to wash colors every day. Linens and towels I try to remember to do once a week. Whites and delicates also once a week.
