Dc has a sore on lips and Dr prescribed valtrex.
If u or dc took this in the past- how many days did it take for it to Heal?

I’m sorry I don’t have an exact answer to your question, but maybe this can be helpful too:
Put a raw potato slice on it.
I did that for a new cold sore and it was gone that same day. I applied a thin slice for a few minutes, then threw it out and put a new thin slice on, again and again until the sore went totally down.
Potatoes are very high in lysine, that’s why it works.

JUst had this last week except I picked my lips so bad they scabbed over terribly. Took a week to get better completely... Took 4 days on valtrex to start clearing up

If you start the Valtrex right when you feel tingling, it clears up almost immediately. If it's already broken out, takes longer. Nothing else works.
