Hospitals often let you set up a minimal payment plan- as long as you make automatic payments they don't charge interest.

Also, find out if you're eligible for an Aflac plan at a reasonable price. I get $2000 for every time I'm in the hospital.

My husband needed to look for another job since they only offered a health plan with high premiums and close to a $15,000 out of pocket. There's no option for Obama care of you can get through an employer....it's difficult

Not OP but helping someone with similar.
Keeps hitting out of pocket due to a child's medical issues.
