I can't see why not. You're not obligated in sukkah.

Yes you can. Only real question for women is the bracha on the candle. Which is not relevant motzaei Chag in any case.

I always heard its not ideal for women to make themselves.

Why would it have to be on shehakol?

Why is making a Bracha on the candle an issue?

Honestly I don't remember the whole reasoning, but there are those who say women should not make that bracha. And therefore some women (eg if they live alone) make a point to hear a man make havdala, rather than say it themselves. However if a woman has no one else to say havdala for her, I think it's generally accepted that she should make it herself.

I made havdalah for myself for many years that I was single. It's fine.

Yes, Im sure its fine for single women to make themselves.

.I just thought it was more of an issue here because I have a husband and he was even around, but he had already heard havdala elsewhere and he couldnt make cos we have no sukka.

Like it was more of matter of convenience rather then circumstancea this time, but I asked and was told its ok.

The reason for shehakol, is because drinking havdala wine causes chest hair, and personally, I don’t want that. So if you use shehakol instead you should be safe.
(Of course the Esthetician and Electrologists may prefer wine as it is better for their business)
Can't Believe It LOL LOL

You mean drinking from havdala wine that a man made on.

This may be what is written somewhere, but there are plenty of women who have made havdala for themselves over the years, and I’m willing to bet that the vast majority of them did not grow chest hair.
