I have an extensive collection of dvds that I would no longer have a need for does anyone have an idea where I can donate them ? Are there any Jewish organizations that would like the entire series of the simpsons or house for example?

DVDs are pretty passe as few laptops still include include DVD drives. However, ask your local fire station or public library if they still collect these things. Or contact DVDs to the Troops at info@dvdstothetroops.org or your local Goodwill store to find out if they still accept DVDs; don't be shocked if the answer is no. Any of these would be more appropriate recipients for the type of shows you mention.

Why not just post on any local groups to see if anyone would want them. As zaq said, dvds are almost "extinct" and not many people use them anymore.
I was clearing out our dvds a few years ago and posted on a local group and I got two families that took most of them.
