I want to buy my dd a digital camera. She’ll be turning 9. I don’t want a piece of junk but I really didn’t wanna spend $100+ either.
Not looking for a kiddie camera with games.
What do kids that age use?

It’s impossible now. I have been looking for months. You can get know offs or $200+. Maybe Black Friday will have good sales

Thanks for the validation!
I see many on Amazon for $50-$70ish and the review are decent but DH said they are no name brands and who knows how good they are (unless someone tells me they own one of those no name brands and it works well)

there are tons of canon powershots on ebay. I got one for $30 but you should look for the $60-$100 range it’s probably better

If you want to wait for Black Friday then you could get really good ones (usually refurbished) for a really decent price.
I got a pretty updated one for $95 last year off Canon's Website.

I got dd a used canon older model for 100$. She’s not thrilled but it works fine and came with all accessories.

Those are made in China and usually don’t have sound
