I will be flying soon to Israel with a 16 month old baby who will have her own seat on the plane. My baby still fits in her infant carseat, the Uppababy Mesa, although she will outgrow within a few months. I have the Uppababy Vista and a Snap n Go which can go with her carseat. I'm trying to figure out what would be the best and most comfortable way to travel.
Will it be too snug on the plane with the infant seat and I should instead get a convertible seat now? If I do that I would need to purchase a travel stroller as well. Suggestions? Also how do you get the convertible seat through the airport?
If I do choose to fly with the infant seat, should I take the Vista or Snap n Go? Or will neither of these really be practical once in Israel...
TIA!

Use whatever you use to travel by car. They will take the wheels at the gate and you can walk onto the plane with the car seat.

In my experience, infant seats fit much better on the plane than convertible seats. They have a better recline and she’ll be more comfortable. Convertibles are more upright. And take your vista. It has good wheels, you don’t want the snap n go
