What items should I buy? Not even sure where to start but all these chanuka threads are making me think ahead and I love this idea but no clue where to start! All your diy cook/bake off ideas are welcome!

When I did this once I literally used the ingredients around my house.
Some Examples off the top of my head:
Sugar
Sprinkles
Whip
BBQ Sauce
Veggies
Strawberries
Flour
Some sort of meat
Flakey Dough
Eggs
Spices
Potatoes

I once did a cookie cook off with my siblings. We each had to use standard ingredients and incorporate a weird ingredient and then judged the results. One was chili pepper, one was rosemary and one was beer. All came out yummy and it was a lot of fun!
