My teenage child friend is a struggling teen going through stuff emosianialy.
Teen is pretty much on their own as far as the parents in the picture, the teen who is 20 did not come to ask me directly to help.
However, doing nothing does not feel right to me
What type of support help can I give
Its tricky bc did not ask for help
However really neds help

Speak to your child.
Discuss what they and you feel the friend needs and how both of you can provide / direct to resources.
You cannot go behind your young adult’s back.

This “teen” who is a 20-year old woman - does she live with her parents? If so, her issues are theirs not yours. Especially as she did not ask you for help, IMHO you would do best to MYOB.

20 years old is an adult not a teen.

I don’t find this to be so true anymore.
It really depends on the individual.
