Anyone have any tips on how to get my two year old to take her antibiotics? She throws up everytime we to try give her meds. Heeeeelp

I would request to switch it. There are other types and sounds like this one doesn't agree with her, or the taste is making her gag. I learned the hard way that if a medicine is not working ask the doctor if you can try something else instead.

If you can't switch it, maybe try mixing it with some grape juice. Sometimes that taste is strong enough to overpower the other taste. Also make sure you're not giving the meds on an empty stomach.

When is your child throwing up? Gagging on the taste? I second grape juice. Distract them while they are taking it. Book/video etc.

For some antibiotics you can request that the doctor change a course of oral that might last 7-14 days to two doses by injection, 24 hours apart. Ask your doctor!
