(aka Ocean University Medical Center)
Can you tell me about your experience?
Both in general L & D, and with Covid
Practice I'm using is Brielle if that makes a difference
TIA!

I haven’t used them, but they do have a high c-section rate. You never know if you’ll wind up in the circumstance where you’ll have to use whoever is on call at the hospital instead of your OB.

I have a 5 y.o who I delivered in brick. Dr Filardo was amazing. My post deliver care was traumatizing. I didn’t deliver my next kid there

For various reasons I have to use this practice and this hospital. So if people can give more personal experiences like amother Skyblue so I can prepare myself mentally would be great! Thanks all!

I used Brielle and wasn’t please. The doctor turned off my epidural for pushing (Dr. keelen), because that’s his mehalach with first time moms. I pushed for 3.5 hours without an epidural, it was horrible. I loved the hospital tho, the nurses were so super nice. I was not impressed with Brielle. All the doctors lacked bedside manner and I am never using them again.

Most likely if you got there and your doctor wasn’t able to make it for whatever reason. There is always a laborist who has to be present in L&D for emergencies. One of my kids was delivered by a random doctor who was on call that day.

Lol my baby is 8 months old bh
Dr keelan did not deliver me, Dr Ditusa did and I was thrilled with her
I actually like Dr Keelans medicine though and would have been fine with him as well, different strokes for different folks I guess;)
Thanks though!

My youngest is 6 so I can't tell you what they're like today but I had 10 kids with them in Brick and I was very happy every time.
I more or less had all the drs in the practice.
